Hometown Party for New Makuuchi Man Arashifuji

Umi, Fukuoka held a celebration for local product Arashifuji, who debuts in the top division at M16E. The 22 year-old, who won consecutive double-digit records in Juryo this year, told fans the timing of his promotion right before the hometown basho could not be better. The town is also preparing a new kesho-mawashi for him featuring the character for "storm" and the town flower.
