Nishitan Clinic Boss Plans 91 Kensho, Picks Kirishima for Most Wins
In the last of a three-part Nikkan Sports chat, Excom Global president Seiji Nishimura (Nishitan Clinic, Imoto no WiFi) said he doesn't think Aonishiki should be promoted to yokozuna even with a Kyushu yusho, and that Atamifuji's ozeki run looks harder still. He tips Kirishima for the year's most wins and predicts new juryo Asahifuji takes the juryo title, perhaps at 13-2.
Nishimura will put named kensho on Yoshinofuji, Hiradoumi, Gonoyama, Tamawashi and two Fujishima-beya rikishi, 91 banners in all, heavier on Day 10 when he attends. He says he loves rugged, Showa-style rikishi.
